The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, August 14, 1953

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara L. Young, 23, of Muskegon who was killed in 
a motorcycle accident at 12:05 a.m. Monday, August 10, were held from the Shaw-
Rivett funeral home Thursday afternoon.  The Rev. Herbert Wylie of the Lyons 
Methodist church and the Rev. Mr. Horn of the Lyons Baptist church officiated. 

Bearers were Alfred Wandel, Charles Bennett, Neil Dadd, Dewey Halliday, 
Richard Raglin and A. E. Rauch.  The music was in charge of Mrs. Susannah 
White.  Burial was in North Plains cemetery.
