Wilbur H. Young, 90, of Ionia passed away Thurs., Oct. 18, 2001 at Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 9, 1911 in Orleans, to Roland W. and Martha M. (Schroeder) 
Young.  Mr. Young married Beulah G. (Lake) Young on Oct. 31, 1936 in Greenville.

Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Beulah G. Young; daughter, Joyce Ann (Larry) 
Leak of Ionia; two sons, Warner F. (Judy) Young of Jonesville and Rex (Mary) 
Young of Ionia; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Young was a lifelong resident of Ionia County.  He farmed and also retired 
from the Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons in 1975.  He was a life member of the 
Belding Masonic Lodge and attended the Shiloh Community Church.  Visitation 
will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday at the Stebbins and Simpson Funeral Home 
in Sheridan.  Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday at the Shiloh 
Community Church with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment at the 
Orleans Cemetery. 

The family suggests memorial considerations to the Shiloh Community Church.
