The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, October 14, 1971

Clayton E. Young, 60, former Ionia resident, died Wednesday morning in Orleans 
township where he has lived the past two years.  Born in Berlin township, 
October 1, 1911, he was the son of Marvin A. and Almina Eldridge Young.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Andrew White of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. John E. 
Morrison, of route 4, Ionia; four brothers, Glenn of route 1, Saranac, Harry 
and Charles of route 4, Ionia, and William of Flint.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Stone-Kauffman funeral home.  
Rev. Charles Fullmer will officiate and interment will be at Balcom cemetery.

Subsequent Publication:  Monday, October 18, 1971

Funeral services for Clayton Elmer Young, known as Joe, who died Wednesday 
were Saturday at 2 p.m.  Rev. Charles W. Fullmer officiated and interment was 
at Balcom cemetery.

Bearers were Earl Nobis, Russell Baird, Judson Maynard, Harrison Young, Donald 
McNeeley, and Paul Young.
