The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, August 9, 1976

Michael Young, 24, of 560 Spaulding, S.E., Grand Rapids died Sunday in an 
automobile accident.  

He was born in Ionia July 2, 1952 and is survived by his wife, Myong; his 
mother, Mrs. Kathryn Dodds of Grand Rapids, his father, Harrison Young of 
Cedar Springs; two brothers, Thomas at home and Thomas Calkins of Cedar 
Springs.  Also surviving are his grandparents, Mrs. Orpha Hubbard of Saranac 
and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Young of Ionia.

Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Roth-Gerst funeral home in Lowell, Dr. 
Richard Greenwood of First Congregational church in Lowell officiating.  
Burial is in Saranac cemetery.  Family will be at the funeral home Monday 7 to 
9 p.m. and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
