The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 16, 1965

Elmo J. Young, 63, died Monday at Ionia County Memorial hospital.  He was born 
May 12, 1901 in Michigan.

Surviving are a brother, Charles Young of Caledonia; three sisters, Mrs. 
Martha Townsend of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Donald Backa of Muskegon and Mrs. Lena 
Engerman.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Morris funeral home and 
interment at Saranac cemetery.  The Rev. Eldon Cummings will officiate.
