Ionia Daily Sentinel, Wed., Sept 27, 1911
George Young, for many years a resident of Ronald township and a pioneer, died 
yesterday at the home of his son, Charles T. Young, three miles north. The 
deceased was 86 years of age and came to Ionia county from the state of New 
York in 1851.  He had been sick at the home of his son since last April.  
Funeral Thursday from the residence, service by Rev. E.E. Branch. Interment in 
Palo cemetery.
