The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, November 15, 1985

Ernest J. Young, 94, of Easton Township, died Nov. 13 at Lowell Medical 
Center.  Born in Sebewa Township on Oct. 30, 1891, he was the son of Henry P. 
and Maria Probert Young.  He was married to Laura A. Gott on Feb. 8, 1916, in 
Ionia.  He was a member of Ionia Moose Lodge and a life member of the Belding 
Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are: his wife; a sister, Etola Face of Orleans; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held from Montgomery-Leddick Funeral Home Sunday at 3 
p.m. with the Rev. Kendall Harger officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Hill 
cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.
