Lake Odessa, MI – Mrs. Jacquelyn Jean Young (Shoemaker), age 85, went to be with
the Lord on Friday, October 21, 2011.

She is survived by her children, Roger (Nancy) Young and Pearl (Mark) Kowalik;
her siblings, Robert (Jane) Shoemaker and Phyllis Jackson; seven grandchildren;
11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was
preceded in death by her husband, Rodney and siblings, Clyde Shoemaker, Jr. and
Thelma Shoemaker.

As Jackie had wished, her remains have been donated to MedCure with her remains
being cremated.  Burial of the remains will be in Lakeside Cemetery.  There will
be a Celebration of Life Luncheon on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Cunningham’s
Acre outside of Lake Odessa on M-50 from 1 to 4 p.m.  The family has asked that
in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Pennock Hospice in Hastings.
