Belding Banner-News, 9 Apr 1964

Bert Young, age 82, died in the Belding Convalescent Home, Monday evening, April
6.  Mr. Young was born August 25, 1881 in Ionia, Michigan.  He was a retired
farmer from Grattan Township but had resided in Smyrna for the past five years.

He was married in 1906 to Ila Woodworth who survives.  Other survivors are one
daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Hills of Fairgrove, Michigan, one sister, Mrs. Jennie
Nummer, Route 1, Lowell and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Huffman Funeral Home,
with Rev. Marvin L. Moser officiating.  Burial was in Tuttle Cemetery, Orange
Township, Ionia County.
