Daily Sentinel-Fri. August 10, 1911

Polly Ann, widow of Anson Young, died at the home of her son Marvin, in Berlin
township, about three o'clock Thursday morning, at age of 77 e. Deceased was not numbered as
an invalid, though she was enduring the feebleness naturally incident to her advanced
years, and passed away while seated in her big arm chair. Funeral from the home on Saturday at
10 a.m., with burial in Balcom cemetry. She was cone of that fast disappearing class of good
old pioneer mothers who are missed in every community they have blessed.
