EDITH YOUNG, 86
Edith Elaine Young, 86, of Ionia, passed away Dec. 19, 2017. She was born 
Nov. 13, 1931, in Detroit, the daughter of Dwight and Erma (Hammer) Robson.

Edith was a member of the Saranac Community Church and past member of Eastern 
Star. She was a secretary at Saranac Public Schools for many years.

Edith is survived by her husband, Paul of Ionia; daughter, Linda Blum of 
Lowell; son, Robert (Rae Ann) Young of Ionia; grandchildren, Ryan, Paul, 
Eric, Keri, Candi, Kris, Jason and Jesse; nine great-grandchildren; brother, 
Ronald (Nikki) Robson of Arizona and sister, Nancy (Roger) Heffelbower of 
Sears. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Brian and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 22, 11 a.m. at Saranac Community 
Church with Pastor Becky Poor officiating. Interment Balcom cemetery. 
Visitation will be Thursday 4-7 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
