The Ionia County News, Thursday, December 11, 1947
Funeral services for Grover Young, 55, who died Thursday in Antelope, Mont., 
were held Wednesday at the Fales-Huffman Funeral Home, Belding.

A former Belding resident, Mr. Young was born in Orleans township January 8, 
1892.  He moved to the west four years ago.

He is survived by his widow, the former Mildred McCarn of Perry, to whom he 
was married in 1911.  Also one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Hackenberry, of 
Antelope, Mont.; two sons, Clayton and Forrest, both of Antelope; two sisters, 
Mrs. William McPherson, of Ionia, and Mrs. Fred Nummer, of Lowell; two 
brothers, Ray of Ionia and Bert of Smyrna, and three grandchildren.
