Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard
Funeral services for Charles Young, Ionia township, who dropped dead Wednesday 
afternoon, were held from the Myers funeral home Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock 
with Rev. Paul L. Stewart, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating.  Bearers 
were Benjamin Cos, Charles McMannas, Bert Minier, Charles Burrows, Ed Snyder, 
Lloyd Snyder and John Higbee.  Interment was at Highland Park cemetery.

Relatives and friends from away were Mr. and Mrs. William Francis, of Mt. 
Pleasant; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Talcott, Saranac; Mrs. Sarah Gould, Saginaw; Mr. and 
Mrs. Ed Johnston, Clare; and Miss Lorraine Francis, Holland.
