                       PHILLIP "BRUCE" YOUNG

IONIA- Phillip "Bruce" Young, 66, of Ionia and North Fort Myers, Fla., died Dec. 
25, at his home in Florida.

Born May 3, 1921, in Ionia County, he was the son of Nelson and Lydia Young. 
Prior to retirement in 1975, he was owner-manager of You-Mar-Tool and Die Co. in 
Ionia. He was a longtime member of the Ionia Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are his wife Helen; stepchildren Judy Bendt of St.Johns, David Leary 
of Lakeview, Michael Leary of Ionia, Kathleen Osborne of Plainwell, Cheryl 
Vanderjact of Coopersville, and Ken and Esther Adair o Ionia; 13 grandchildren ; 
three-great-grandchildren; a brother A.J. Young of Lake Odessa and Sorento, Fla. 
and two sisters,Ellen Burgi of LaGrand, Ind., and Lucille Nash of Ionia; four 
nieces and a nephew.

Memorial services will be held May 14 at 11 a.m. at the Rich Street Chapel of 
Cook Funeral Home, with Ron Rubach officiating.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

A memorial has been established for Ionia area Hospice, in care of the funeral 
home.
