Ionia Shopper's Guide - Sat. January 22, 2025

        YOUNG

Rex Lee Young, passed away on February 17, 2025 in Ionia. He was born February 
3, 1952 in Belding MI, the son of Wilbur and Beulah (Lake) Young.

Rex worked for Rural Gas in Ionia for 40 plus years.He enjoyed hunting, farming 
and drinking beer. He was a great storyteller and was known by family and 
friends as "Sexy-Rexy".

He is survived by his wife Mary; daughters, Amy(Bill)Smith and Sam Young; 
grandchildren, Hunter, Ryleigh and Parker and his sister,Joyce(Larry) Leak.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur & Beulah Young, brother, Warner 
Young and his sister Sandy Young.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Life will be held at a later 
date.Services in care of Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Online condolences may be
