The Ionia Standard, Friday, February 5, 1892
The remains of Mrs. Rebecca Young, aunt of Mrs. C. O. Shepherd, were taken to 
Guelph, Ontario.  Funeral services today, from the Methodist church, built on 
her father’s old farm, and where nearly 50 years ago she gave her heart to 
God, in whom she trusted to the end.
