Lowell Ledger Suburban Life, 26 Jun 1975

Services for Miss Mary Belle Young, 88, of Clarksville, who died Thursday
evening, June 12, at the Osteopathic Hospital, Grand Rapids, were held June 15,
at the Pickens Koops Chapel in Clarksville.  Rev. Elwood Norton officiated and
burial was in the South Boston Cemetery.  She was born May 15, 1887, in Boston
Township, the daughter of Robert and Nellie (Leece) Young and was a life long
resident of the Clarksville area.  She taught in the rural schools in the
Clarksville area for many years, retiring in 1945.  She was a former
correspondent for the Lowell Ledger.  Surviving are a sister, Alice Young and
one brother, Wilbur, both of Clarksville.
