Sentinel-Std. - Monday, Dec. 22, 1969

Mrs. Mildred Young, 63, of route 3, died Sunday afternoon at Ionia County 
Memorial hospital, shortly after admittance.

She was born May 4, 1906 in Easton township, the daughter of Charlie and Cora 
Rogers. In 1926 she was married in Saranac to Charles H. Young and had lived at 
her Berlin township residence since. She was a member of First Christian church 
and Order of Eastern Star.

Besides her husband, Charles, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Lois Garrighius of 
Crawfordsville, Ind.; two sons, Paul of route 4 and Stanley of Greenville; six 
grandchildren; brother, Fred Rogers of Belding; three sisters, Mrs. Chauncey 
Braman of Lansing, Mrs. Robert Brown and Mrs. Vernon Bliss of Greenville.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 pm at Stone-Kauffman funeral home. Rev. 
Theodores Forbes will officiate and interment will be at Balcom cemetery.
