Gordon Francis Young, 68, of Ionia died Monday afternoon December 31, 2007 at 
Spectrum Health in Greenville. Gordon was born on September 6, 1939 in 
Windsor, Ontario Canada, the son of Robert and Ruth Sudds Young. 

He is survived by his loving wife Beverly ( Raby) Young and his daughters; 
Deborah (Bill) Johnson, Connie Roberts, his sister in laws; Patricia Kennedy, 
Donna (Dan) Hannah, Lee Ann (Luke) White, his mother in law; Pauline ( Dick) 
Denton, his granddaughters; Ashley ( Dan) Zander, Lacie Turnes, Megan 
Figurowski, Keely Roberts, his great-grandsons; Lain Zander, Dakota Swain, 
Logan Turnes and his two best friends that loved him no matter what; Peaches 
and Mitzie.  Gordon was preceded by his parents and brother in law; Dale 
Kennedy. 

Gordon loved life and enjoyed working in the woodshop doing wood crafts. He 
loved his family very much and they love him. Gordon will be sadly missed by 
all that knew and loved him. 

In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and no visitation or 
services will be held. Memorial contributions may be given to the Ionia County 
Animal Shelter. Envelopes will be available at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral 
Home, Belding where care and service have been entrusted.
