The Belding Banner-News, Wednesday, July 26, 1922

At the ripe old age of seventy-eight years, J. Harry Younger, breathed his 
last on Sunday, July 23 at his residence on N. Bridge St. in this city and his 
remains were laid to rest in River Ridge cemetery on Tuesday afternoon, the 
ceremonies being conducted by the Belding lodge of the Masonic fraternity.

Surviving him are his wife, Carrie Younger, to whom he was married nearly 50 
years, being married September 1, 1872 at Lowell, Mrs. Hattie Hubbell, of 
Ionia, daughter and the son Clyde Younger, of this city besides two brothers, 
Wm. and Chas. Younger of Ronald township, both older than deceased and who 
were present at the funeral.  J. Harry Younger was born in Ronald twp. in this 
county and was a life long resident of Ionia county, he was well and favorably 
known and highly respected as one of Ionia county’s most worthy citizens.
