Ionia Sentinel, 24 May 1883

John W. Youngs died on Sunday at his home in this city.  The funeral was held at
the Disciples church on Wednesday morning at ten o’clock.  Deceased had been in
very poor health for a long time, and death was not unexpected.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Balcom Cemetery.]
