                                R.CLYDE YOUNGS

R.Clyde Youngs, 68, of route 2, Smyrna, died unexpectedly of an apparent heart 
attack Saturday afternoon at Belding Community Hospital.

Born at Whitehall, March 16, 1903, he had formerly lived at Lansing and 
Charlotte before coming to the Smyrna area 29 years ago.

He was retired from Major Manufacturing Co. of Belding in 1969. He was a member 
of Macabes Lodge 750 July 28, 1931. He was married to Glanna Mead who survives.

Besides the wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs.Merle Carr of Anaheim, Calif. two 
sons, Willard of Belding and Donald of Edmore; eight grandchildren; sister, 
Mrs.Frank Richmond of Smyrna; two brothers, Alan and Carl Youngs of Lansing.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 pm at Charles M.Courser Funeral Home in 
Belding. Rev. Wilfred D.Wood will officiate and interment will be at Smyrna 
Cemetery.

Visitation hours at the funeral home are Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.

Bearers will be Charles, Ralph and Frank Richmond, jr., Dale and David Youngs 
and Scott Clemence.
