She had been busy all day preparing for a sale of their stock and farm tools which was to have taken place Thursday. Her health not being of the best she was planning on leaving the farm and moving to Ionia. The blow falls especially hard on the children, four boys, one of them, Harden, being still in France, and one daughter, Mrs. Frances Youngs, because of the death of their father, Will Youngs, in the gravel pit a few months ago. She was 44 years of age. The funeral was largely attended from the M. E. church in Saranac, Saturday, April 19, burial in Saranac cemetery.
