                               LELAND ZAHM

BELDING - Leland"Pete"Zahm,47,of 824 South Perl Street died Thursday at 
Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born February 3, 1930 in Otisco Township and was a veteran of the Korean 
conflict, a member of the Hugo Fales American Legion post 203, Belding and a 
member of St.Mary's Church, Miriam.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline M.; three daughters Suzanne at home, 
Mrs.David (Angela) Sailer of Belding and Mrs.Dennis (Kimberly) Speckin of Ionia; 
one son,Michael at home; four sisters, Mrs.Helen Bozung of Belding; Mrs.Leona 
Hale of Saranac; Mrs.Margaret Creigh of Coldwater and Mrs.Kathryn Blanding of 
Roanoke, Virginia; three brothers, Raymond and Clarence of Belding and Robert of 
Greenville and one grandchild.

Funeral Mass is Monday at 11 a.m. from St.Mary's church in Miriam with Father 
John Wisneski and the Belding American Legion officiating.

Rosary will be recited Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Huffman Funeral Home.

Burial is in St.Mary's Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Saturday 7 to 
8:30 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4:30 and 7 to 8:30 p.m.
