Ionia Sentinel Standard, 24 Dec 1979

Ionia – Services for Richard A. Zander, 68, of Ionia, were conducted Friday at 
2 p.m. from the St. Johns Lutheran Church with the Rev. Leo Kostizen 
officiating.  The church organist was Mrs. Helena Ruehs.

Burial was in Balcom Cemetery, and bearers were Robert Deline, David Reister, 
Michael Zander, Vernor Nelson, Raymond Nash and Alden Smith.

Prior to church services a family prayer service was conducted at the Leddick 
Funeral Home, and following graveside services, a luncheon was served in the 
St. Johns Lutheran School Cafeteria.
