Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Jan. 22, 1990

MUIR- Laurence L. Zander, 56, of Caro, died Jan. 20.

He was born on May 13, 1933 in Ionia, the son of August and Gertrude (Darling) 
Zander. He had lived in Caro for many years.

Surviving him are six sisters, Agnes Morrison of Ionia, Laura Schultis of 
VanCleave, Miss,. Doris Campbell of Lansing, Dora Miller of Ionia, Cynthia 
Lujan of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Gertrude Sheldon of Ionia; two brothers, 
Sylvester Zander of Lyons and Robert Zander of Milwaukee, Wish. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Hull Memorial Chapel 
in Muir, The Rev. Paul Carmichael will officiate.

Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Ionia.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday.
