Nancy E. Zanders, 69, of Palo, passed away Feb. 20, 2014, in Palo.  She was 
born Oct. 2, 1944, in Lansing.  Nancy married William Zanders on Feb. 15, 1963, 
in Ionia.  She liked to do wood work and crochet.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bill Zanders of Palo; children, 
Rhonda Brand of Belding, William (Maria) Zanders Jr. of Kalamazoo, Linda 
(Ralph) Anderson of Fenwick, April (Randy) Parrish of Gowen, and Nancy Zanders 
of Palo; brother, Donald Sehr of Arizona; grandchildren, Casandra Zanders, Tony 
Zanders, Elizabeth (Derek) Urbina, Mason Anderson, Amanda Parrish, Kaylee 
Parrish and Zachary Parrish; great-grandchildren, Cole Gabriel, Dahlia, Chole, 
Derek Jr., Athin and Aizen.  

She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda; step-father, Donald; 
granddaughter, Catrina; sister, Star; and brother, Grant.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at Lake Funeral Home 
in Ionia, with Pastor Nelson Duncan officiating.  Visitation will be held from 
11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, 
donations may be made to her family.
