Ionia County News - Thurs. March 9, 1939

Mrs. Elizabeth F. Zank, 93, died at her home, 311 High street, at 12:55 o’clock 
Wednesday afternoon, March 8. She had been in failing health for a year but 
seriously ill only the past ten days. 

Mrs. Zank was born in Clinton, Ohio, December 1, 1845, and came to Ionia more 
than 50 years ago. 

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Alice Jones of Norwalk, Conn., Mrs. Harry 
J. Holbrook, of Hubbardston and Miss Gertrude Zank of Ionia.

Rev. A. J. Westmaas will conduct the funeral service which will be at three 
o’clock Friday afternoon, March 10, from Bradley funeral home. The body will 
lie in state until three o’clock. Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery.
