The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, May 18, 1964
Solemn High Mass was celebrated at SS. Peter and Paul church Saturday at 9 
a.m. for Mrs. Mary M. Zanto, 88, Orange township resident, who died Wednesday 
noon at her home on route one, Portland.  The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John S. Fons sang 
the mass, assisted by Rev. Fr. Donald Lomasiewicz and Rev. Fr. Paul Johnson.

Bearers were Vernon Fedewa, Donald Shattuck, Clare Cross, Robert Coulson, 
Harold Possehn and Gerald Dekkinga.

Relatives and friends attended from Lake Odessa, Portland, Alpena, Ionia, 
Clare, Grand Rapids, Saranac, Lowell, Pontiac, Detroit, Greenville, Wyoming, 
Jenison and Potterville.
