Leonard C. Zanto, 77, of Portland died on Thursday in Ionia.

He was born April 26, 1915 in Orange Township, the son of Louis and Mary Stencel 
Zanto.

He was a member of St. Patrick's Church of Portland. He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his wife Arlene; his brother Paul of Sand Lake; and two daughters,

Anna Cross of Portland and Agnes Dekkinga of Grand Rapids.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Church, with the 
Rev. Julian Reginato officiating.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia.

Arrangements were made by Neller Funeral Chapel of Portland.
