Jeanette M. Zaukelies, age 88, of Lake Odessa passed away on Wednesday, January 
1, 2014 in Hastings, MI.  Jeanette was born 0ctober 18, 1925 to Roy and 
Floretta (Spicer) Poole in Grand Ledge, MI. 

She held a bachelor degree in accounting and worked for IBM/Chrysler as a 
bookkeeper.  Jeanette loved teaching Sunday school, Christian services at the 
Ionia Prison along with traveling the world.  She had also been a firm believer 
in tithing to her church of which most recently was the First Baptist Church of 
Sebewa. 

Jeanette leaves behind two sons Duane (Genevieve) Lindsley and Brian Lindsley 
along with several grand and great grandchildren.  Preceding her in death are 
her parents, husband Lyle Lindsley and husband John Zaukelies. 

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Koops Funeral Chapel 
935 4th Ave, Lake Odesssa MI from 5 until 7 p.m.  A graveside service is 
planned at Oakwood Cemetery in Grand Ledge at 11 am. On Wednesday, January 8, 
2014.   Memorials in Jeanette's name can be directed to the First Baptist 
Church of Sebewa.
