The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, January 3, 1956

James H. Zeigler, 70, of Holland lake died Tuesday morning at Sheridan 
Community hospital where he had been a patient for three days.  He was born 
January 9, 1885 in Ionia county the son of George and Mary Post Zeigler.  He 
was a former employee of the Ypsilanti Reed plant of Ionia and until his 
recent retirement was employed at Gibson’s in Greenville.

Surviving are his wife, Beulah; one son, Harold J. of Ionia; one daughter, 
Mrs. Nadeen West of Wayne; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one 
brother, Elmer Zeigler, of Ionia and sister, Mrs. Cora Wheelock of Flint.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Myers funeral 
home with the Rev. Heath Goodwin officiating.  Interment will be in the family 
plot at Highland Park Cemetery.
