Raymond A. Zeigler, age 84, of Orleans passed away Nov. 10, 2013, in Lansing.  
He was born Jan. 22, 1929, in Ionia, the son of Elmer and Clarabelle (Ward) 
Zeigler. 

Raymond married Delores J. Ralston Nov. 5, 1956, in Ionia.  She preceded him in 
death in 1975.  He worked for the Ionia County Road Commission and was a member 
of Ionia Moose Lodge and the Ionia County Sheriff's Posse.

Raymond is survived by his children, Raeann (Bob) Young of Ionia, Deanna 
Schnicke of Orleans, Mark (Rose) Zeigler of Saranac and John (Beth) Zeigler of 
Saranac; brothers, Roy (Margaret) Zeigler of Orleans and Neil Zeigler of Ovid; 
sisters, Melva (Jack) Kinsman of Ionia, Neola Sanders of Ionia and Muriel 
Wagner of Grand Rapids, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; brothers, Lefty and Baylis; and 
sisters, Wilma, Boneita, Verabella, Winnie and Shirley.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2 p.m., Nov. 14, 2013, at Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia.  Visitation Wednesday 4-7 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.  
Memorial contributions in Raymond's name may be made to the family or Kidney 
Foundation.
