Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Apr 2002

Betty Evelyn Zeller passed away Friday, April 12, 2002 in Ionia.  She was born 
April 4, 1928 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Harold and Laitha (Collier) 
Rich.  She went on to marry Warren Zeller Jan. 22, 1949.  Betty was a member of 
St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ionia.

She is survived by her husband, Warren Zeller of Ionia; sons, Ernest (Carol) 
Zeller of Ionia, Rodney Zeller of Orleans and Walter (Janice) Zeller of Grand 
Rapids; daughters, Irene (Ed) Lipinski of Kentucky, Peggy (Leo) Postle Jr. of 
Grand Rapids, Rose (Paul) Newcomb of Ionia and Arlene (Bob) Samuelson of 
Zeeland; sister, Doris (Jim) Walch of Grandville; 15 grandchildren; and one 
great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 
617 N. Jefferson St., Ionia, with Rev. Dan Seng officiating.  Interment Balcom 
Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at St. John’s 
Lutheran Church.  Visitation was also held on Monday at Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia.
