Norine B. Zeller (Weaver), aged 79, of Ionia, went to be with her Savior on 
October 21, 2004. She was born February 24, 1925 in Ionia the daughter of 
Edward and Sylvia (Duso) Weaver.  She was employed by AC Spark Plug and later 
transferred to Fisher Body where she worked until retiring in 1964.

She was a 1942 graduate of Ss. Peter and Paul School. She was a lifetime 
member of the Ionia VFW Auxiliary Post 4406; member of the Women of the Moose; 
life member of VFW Camp Trotter; life member of VFW National Home; member of 
the American Legion Auxiliary of Belding; past president of the Ionia County 
Council; chairperson of the Freedom Acres Christmas Party for over 20 years.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Clara Pline of Portland, Edna 
Keeney of Belding, Tom and Arlene Weaver of Ionia, Bernie and Beverly Weaver 
of Wayland; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many 
friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Sylvia Weaver, 
sister Ruth Anne Mellinger, brothers Charles and Joseph Weaver.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 25, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Ss. Peter and 
Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Mel Fox officiating.  Interment Orleans 
Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Saturday 
from 6 to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. where there will 
be a ladies Auxiliary Service at 7:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary.  Anyone 
wishing may make memorial contributions to Freedom Acres, Heartland Activities 
Chairman and Ss. Peter and Paul Education Trust Fund.
