She was born in Gaines township, Kent county, and was married in 1873 to Samuel Zelner, who operated a lumber business in Lake Odessa several years. He died in 1920. In 1923, she was married to Marquis Foght, who died in 1937. Mrs. Foght had been a resident of Lake Odessa more than 35 years and had been active in Calvary United Brethren church here and its Sunday school. She is survived by a son, Prof. Otto F. Zelner of the University of Minnesota; two daughters, Mrs. Blough and Mrs. Olive Pilkinton of Morenci; three step- daughters, Mrs. Ina Gattner of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Nettie Otis of Lansing, and Mrs. Artie Mackintosh of Deaborn; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Mrs. Foght had been ill since last September. She had been cared for at the homes of her daughters Mrs. Pilkinton and Mrs. Blough during that time. The funeral was held at Calvary United Brethren church Monday with the pastors officiating. Burial was at Lakeside. The following from away were in attendance at the funeral: Prof. and Mrs. Otto S.
