Ionia Sentinel Standard, 9 Jan 1970

Arthur Zemliska, 77, of 1137 Hess Lake drive, Grant, died Thursday evening at
the Grand Rapids Osteopathic hospital.  Born April 24, 1892 in Cheboygan, he was
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zemliska.  A veteran of World War I, he made his
home in Ionia 24 years before moving to Grant where he lived the past 23 years.
 He was employed by the government as civil service quartermaster.

Surviving are his wife, Albertina, two step-sons, Leslie MacMillian of Detroit
and Charles MacMillian of Freemont; a daughter, Mrs. Marjory Abbott, Battle
Creek; seven grandchildren, five step grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home.  Fr. Charles
Lynch will officiate and interment will be at Balcom cemetery.
