Ionia Standard
Lena Zielinski, age 22, died at the home of Thos. A. Carten, where she had lived 
for four years, on Sunday morning.  She was a general favorite, and there is a 
perceptible feeling of gloom in the “Big Store.”  Her mother passed away before 
her.  She leaves a father resident in Alpena and  two brothers in Detroit.  
Funeral from SS Peter and Paul’s Tuesday morning at 9.  Interment in the Catholic 
cemetery here.
