Kathryn (Kathy) Zimmer, age 57, of Gilroy, California, passed away on Aug. 29, 
2014.  She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of John and Marge 
Rogusky.

Kathy was a graduate of Ionia High School, class of 1974.  She married John 
Zimmer, Aug. 25, 1978.  

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, John; children Erik (Kris) Zimmer 
of San Francisco, Nicole Garcia of Gilroy and Justin Zimmer of Gilroy; 
grandchildren Alora Garcia-Zimmer and Mia Garcia; sister Peg (Steve) Starks; 
brother Rick (Cindy) Rogusky; mother-in-law Pat Milburn; sister-in-law Brenda 
McClain; brother-in-law Ron Zimmer; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and 
nephews.  Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law Ron Zimmer 
Sr., and brother-in-law Dennis Zimmer.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  Anyone wishing may make 
memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association .
