SERVICES HELF FOR HASTINGS TEACHER

Funeral services were held for Verda Zuschnitt, former Hastings public teacher 
and Barry County rural teacher Wednesday, with burial in Lakeside cemetery, Lake 
Odessa.

For the past nine years she had taught vocational education and commercial 
courses at St.Johns. She was a graduate of Hastings high school class of 1918 
and Barry County normal in 1919 and had taught in Barry County prior to going to 
St.Johns.

Surviving are two sisters Mrs.Bertha Jones of Lansing and Mrs.Adelbert Heath of 
route 2, Nashville.
