Mrs. Herman Zwerk, 49, died at her home on West Main street Christmas morning 
of a heart attack.  The Zwerks moved to Ionia from Vassar 2½ years ago.  Her 
husband is janitor at Ionia high school.

She was born in Butternut January 19, 1902, and had been married for 31 years.

Surviving are the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Blew, of Ionia, a son, Raymond 
of Ionia; two grandchildren; a foster mother, Mrs. Mary Mossner of Saginaw; six 
sisters, Mrs. Ella Kline and Mrs. Hazel Ripley of Lansing, Mrs. Myrtle Waliver 
of Springfield, Mo., Mrs. Lola Bonite of Lyons, Mrs. Goldie Andrews of Reese 
and Mrs. Ethel Owen of Pontiac; and three foster brothers, Hugh Mossner and 
Harold Mossner of Richville, and Oscar Mossner of Saginaw.

Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Myers funeral home.  Burial will 
be in Balcom cemetery.
