Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at 9 o’clock at SS. Peter and Paul church. Burial will be in Carson City cemetery. Mrs. Kelly was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Welch, pioneers of North Plains, who came from New York to that community when their daughter was two years of age. She is the last of the family of four children. Except for five years at Marion, she had resided all her life in this county. Surviving are the husband; two sons, Edward, of Lapeer, and Robert, of Ionia, and a daughter, Mrs. G. H. Fox, of Mt. Pleasant. Another son, John, died several years ago at Hubbardston. Rev. Fr. Robert Rock, assistant to Rt. Rev. Msgr. Hugh D. McCarty at St. Leo’s church, Detroit, lived with Mrs. Kelly during his boyhood, and will be present at the services to offer Requiem Mass.
