Tawas Herald
Mrs. Martin Kirbitz, an old resident of East Tawas, died at her home in that 
city last Friday afternoon after a two years illness from diabetes. She leaves 
a husband and eight children to mourn the loss of a devoted wife and loving 
mother. The funeral was held at the Zion Lutheran Church in this city Sunday 
afternoon, Rev. Reithmeier officiating, and was very largely attended. The 
remains were laid to rest in the Lutheran cemetery on the Plank road.

Katharina Kirbitz was buried in Zion Lutheran Cemetery on Plank Road in Tawas 
City, Iosco County, Michigan under the surname of Kurbitz, Lot 75, Grave E.
