Rheta M. Lardie, 87, of Saranac, died December 12 in Lowell.  She was born 
September 10, 1901 in Menton, the daughter of Bert and Dora Harris Brown.  

She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph, and two sons, Norman and G. 
Melvin.  She is survived by one daughter, Rheta Wight of Saranac; three sons, 
George and Robert of Las Vegas, and Martin of Lansing; 14 grandchildren and 
several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Lansing 
Chapel, with the Rev. Robert G. Roush officiating.  Burial will be at Mt. Hope 
Cemetery in Lansing.  Visitation will be at the chapel Thursday from 2-4 and 7-
9 p.m.
