Kalamazoo Gazette, Saturday 10-17-1964
"MANNION, MRS. FLORENCE, 1214 Washington Avenue --- Passed away early Saturday 
morning at Borgess Hospital. Mrs. Mannion was born September 10, 1890 in Des 
Plaines, Illinois and had been a resident of Kalamazoo for the past 60 years.  
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Her husband, William C. 
Mannion, passed away May 23, 1964. Surviving are: two sons, Clare (Clarence) 
and Norman, both of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephzoo (sic); six 
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mary Jarchow and 
one brother, John Birchler, both of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews.  
Friends will be received at the Donovan Funeral Home after noon time Sunday 
where the rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:30.  Funeral services 
will be held at St. Joseph Church, Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock.  Burial in 
Mt. Olivet Cemetery."
