Dr. Cary S. Peabody, MD formerly of Lake Odessa, MI and Youngstown, OH
Died January 12, 2002-age 88 in Grand Rapids
Born December 21, at Lake Odessa son of Dr. Charles H. and Neva V. (Buck) Peabody
Graduated from lake Odessa High School in 1931 & Albion College in 1935
Graduated University of Michigan Medical  School in 1939, then from University of 
Wisconsin where he completed post-graduate work in Ophthalmology 
Served U.S. Army Medical Corps as physician in World War II from 1942 to 1946 
Practiced Ophthalmology for 25 years at Youngstown, Ohio
Retired and moved to Lake Odessa in 1976, then to Grand Rapids in 1990
Survived by wife, Marion of 60 years, two nieces and a nephew.
No visitation or funeral service. Burial at Lakeside Cemetery
Arrangements by Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolent Fund at Porter Hills Village
