The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, May 28, 1943

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Parr, 76, former Ionian who died Wednesday 
in Grand Rapids, were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Stone 
funeral home.  Rev. Frank H. Watkin, pastor of the First Nazarene church, 
Grand Rapids, officiated and burial was in the family lot in Highland Park 
cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jack Cunningham, Gervase Cunningham, Herbert Parr, Howard 
Scott.  Musical selections were given by Emery Vermilya.

Attending services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Warren Spring, Mr. and Mrs. 
John Cunningham and Mr. and Mrs. Gervase Cunningham of Grand Rapids; Mr. and 
Mrs. Herbert Parr, Mrs. Dorothy Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Scott of Lansing; 
Mrs. Calvin Rose of Muskegon; Mrs. Wesley Downing and Miss Joyce Downing, of 
Grand Ledge; Mrs. Harvey Mack, Miss Carol Mack of Lansing; Mrs. Susan White 
and daughter of Mason.
