Obituaries from the Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, Michigan

Rachel L. Burt, age 66, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Saturday, April 10,
1999 at the Laurels of Mt. Pleasant.  Rachel was born the daughter of
Charles and Dorothy (Randle) Jasmine, March 19, 1933 in Clare County. 
She had lived in the Clare area all her life.  She had been employed in
the food industry, and at one time had worked at the Doherty.  Rachel
had also attended the Loomis Missonary.
     Rachel is survived by 2 sisters, Josephine Edinbrough of Clare, and
Juanita McJames of Clare; 2 half sisters, Doris Buckta of Casper, WY and
Nina Scherzer of Midland.  Rachel is also survived by many other family
and friends.  Rachel was predeceased by her parents and 2 half brothers,
Lyle and Oscar Tasmin.
     Visitation for Rachel took place Wednesday, April 14, 1999 from 7-9
pm at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home.  Cremation to follow, with
burial in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.  Memorials may
be made o the family.  Arrangements by the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral
Home, Inc., of Clare.
