The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgenwebarchives.org *********************************************************************** Obit: Frederick Herman "Fritzie" Faber, 1937: Funeral services were held from St. Henry's church in Vernon, on January 31 for Frederick Herman Faber, son of Fred and Mary Ellen Faber, who died January 27 at the Samaritan hospital in Bay City. The Ref. Gordon Grant officiated and burial was madein Denver cemetery. Pallbearers were the lad's schoolmates, Bobby Hafer, R. J. Bullard, Jack Sharp and John WEst. Fritzie was born July 14, 1935 in Mt. Pleasant. He was a pupil at the Bader school, Denver township where he was in the second grade. Fritzie was taken to the hospital on January 10 for an appendectomy. A second operation was performed on January 26, the youth expiring on January 27. Survivors are his parents; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Herman Faber and John McElhaney; and several aunts and uncles. A brother and a sister precededhim in death in 1933 and 1937.
