Clare Sentinel, Clare MI,  May 19, 1921
Thos. Gray, long a prominent citizen of Isabella Co., died at his home in 
Rosebush MI on Wednesday night of last week after a considerable period of ill 
health.  He was a prominent citizen of his township and county, having served 
several terms as Supervisor of Isabella Township, sheriff of the county and 
representative in the state legislature.  He came from Canada over 40 years 
ago and had been a resident of Rosebush and vicinity most of the time since.  
The funeral was held at the residence in Rosebush on Sunday with burial at Mt. 
Pleasant MI beside his first wife.  Mr. Gray was twice married and is survived 
by the second wife, her daughter Mamie whom he adopted and a son Harry and 
daughter Mabel of Milwaukee, children by his first marriage.
